Privacy Policy

We recognize the importance of protecting the personal information you provide at the Web site owned or controlled by the Patrick Boulger Licensed REALTOR® with Calabash Real Estate (“PBR”) website (“Site”) we maintain the following privacy policy:

1. PBR gathers the following types of information needed to process your transactions, fulfill your requests, and maintain our membership records:

Contact information you provide (for example, your personal and business addresses, phone and fax numbers, firm affiliations and titles).
Tracking information which our Web server automatically recognizes each time you visit one of our sites or communicate with us by email (for example, your domain name, your email address, and what pages you visit).
Information you volunteer, via applications or surveys (for example, education, designations, specialties, affiliations with other real estate organizations and general demographic data).
2. PBR uses this information to:

Improve and customize the content and layout of our sites and other communications tools.
Notify you of updates to our sites.
Notify you of relevant products and services.
Notify you of upcoming events and programs.
Compile specialty directories about which you will be made aware.
Track usage of our sites.
To improve our products and services.
We may use your information to make website, mobile application, or product and service improvements.
To look at website and mobile application trends and customer interests.
We might use your information to customize your experience with us. We may also combine information we get from you with information about you we have received from third parties or publicly available sources to assess trends and interests.

We collect personal and other information about users over time and across different websites when you use this website or service. We also have third parties that collect personal information this way. We or our vendors use several common online tracking tools to collect this information. These may include browser and flash cookies. We may also use web beacons and similar technologies. We or third parties may also collect or receive information from our mobile applications and others’ applications and use that information to provide measurement services and targeted ads. We (and our third party service providers) also use these tools:
To track new visitors to our websites.

To learn what site referred you to our website or mobile application.
To store your password if you are registered on our website.
To personalize your experience on our website, mobile application and on third-party social networking websites, plug-ins and applications.

So we can better understand our audience, our customers, our website visitors and mobile application users, and their respective interests.

4. Email contact information. PBR does not share, sell, or trade email addresses, except that state and local association staff and leadership email addresses may be listed in the membership directories available on PBR may use your email address to directly send you information and may provide you with online informational or marketing messages that have been approved by PBR together with other communications to which you have subscribed.

5. Other forms of contact information. Forms of contact information other than email address (for example, street address) may be listed in the membership directories available on PBR will not share, sell or otherwise provide this contact information about you except for the following purposes:

Partners in our REALTOR Benefits® Program for the limited purpose of notifying you of PBR-approved promotions.
Exhibitors at REALTOR® trade shows for the limited purpose of contacting you one time immediately before and after trade shows, through marketing vehicles approved by PBR.
Other vendors for the limited purpose of contacting targeted groups of members, through marketing vehicles approved by PBR.
When required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the personal safety of our members or the public.
Some or all of the data collected during promotions or contests on our sites that are sponsored by third parties may be shared with the sponsor for the limited purpose of a one-time marketing follow-up by the sponsor. If information about you will be shared with a sponsor you will be notified prior to your participation in the promotion or contest and you can decide not to participate in the promotion or contest.

6. Credit information that you and credit authorizers provide when you make payments by credit card or electronic check for products, dues or other services via the REALTOR® Electronic Commerce Network will only be used to process the transactions you request. This information will be provided to and maintained by reputable credit reporting databases, but will never be sold, shared or provided to other third parties.

7. PBR follows generally accepted standards to protect the information it collects and makes available via its Web sites. PBR tests their security procedures regularly and modifies them as new technologies become feasible.

8. PBR utilizes a strict Opt-Out policy for sending online notifications regarding services, products and programs. You may adjust your Communication Preferences by reviewing your registration. Just Login first. Then you can change your preferences.

9. You may edit your personal contact information directly in the NRDS system or by contacting your local REALTOR® association.

10. Some of our Web sites contain advertising placed by advertising networks pursuant to agreements between PBR and the advertising network. PBR does not control these advertising networks, the sites of third parties reached through links on our site, or their information collection practices, and PBR will not be responsible for the activities of these third parties. The advertising network uses cookies to collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you click on the banner ads appearing on our sites. This information is collected by the advertising network for purposes of measuring and reporting on the advertising to advertisers and PBR. The advertising network may also aggregate the information for certain other statistical and reporting purposes.

11. Do-Not-Track Disclosure: Some browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature that allows you to communicate to websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Our system does not respond to Do Not Track requests or headers from some or all browsers at this time.
